UI/UX Design of Nincompoop App.

Problem Statement: Design an app for the startup, with the goal of earning revenue from its services.
1st part: THE UX
Brainstorming: First of all I took down notes of their business goals, their company base, the services they provide, and also their future plans to get a rough idea about their work and what they need. After that have tried and tested some apps out there in the market with similar business goals.
Competitive Analysis: I did the analysis of its competitor apps and figured out a list of features according to their usage importance. Through this I also got to know about the important aspects an app should have to keep the transparency between the company and the user.
User Research: Here I tried to empathize with the user to get a better understanding of the user's state of mind so that I can use it to align with the business goals. Also, I got a brief idea about what the users don’t like about the existing apps.
I had a chat with the audience of the Page/Company, which helped me to understand the audience sentiments.
At this point, I had a pretty clear idea about what and how to make things in my next step!
Colors and Fonts used in the app:

2nd Part: THE UI DESIGN!

The Splash Screen is kept quite simple and the illustrations added below give the vibes of kolkata, which definately speaks about idea and the origin of the company and since its most of the audience is mostly from Kolkata and the places near it, thus it will carry a vibe along with it.

Onboarding plays a huge role in the apps, thus we tried to make them cheerful and usable.

Same with the sign-in and sign-up screens, we kept it decent and the user and gets into the app easily by providing the minimum required details, also if the user wants to get directly into the home screen they can easily skip this flow.

The home screen has all the elements of the app, the user can easily scroll down and look for his need. A section is also created in the homescreen apart from the bottom menu to make the user flow easier and the user can diretly jump into memes, merch, blogs whatever he seeks.
The Hamburger menu has all the elements listed so that the user can explore easily.
The remaining designs of the App:

Conclusion: This project was really fun to do, got to learn so many aspects of both the design and business side, and also got the exposure to work directly with the developers. The people I worked with were really helpful and the CEO, Mr. Avipsu Goswami really helped along the process with his insights and valuable feedback.
Note: This was one of my first projects, today I can point out so many flaws in the designs I created, issues like spacing, font height, ux principles, choice of complex icons etc. I am really thankful for all the resources which helped me in learning and capable that I can point out flaws I did in my past work.
I thought to delete this casestudy I made, but I feel like it should stay here.
